Which game would you pick?
My cd seems to have failed me with railroad Tycoon 3 and the down loads from other sites don't always work.
I have played rr3 for years but which game is better.
Thanks for your help I have a Nitro5 windows 64.

Personally, I prefer RRT3 over the original TF. I liked the campaign in RRT3 - there isn't anything like that in the original TF, plus RRT3 is more gamey and isn't as system intensive.

No idea what the Nitro 5 is like, but TF started to struggle on my old FX-8350 with a GTX 660 and 16GB RAM.

Here's the thing, Railroad Tycoon 3, you can probably get running easily in Wine, for 10$ less than Train Fever.

And many of the reviews of Train Fever leave me hesitant to buy; I'd sooner give OpenTTD a go.
