DanVanDam: thank you for the mention of the software, I went to go try it out and... my small brain was hurting a bit trying to find hex values for a while x.x I was trying to do certain things within the games to find a clue for where I can tweak the HP and I became to panic'd and got lost in translation with that. Again thank you for mentioning the software and I will keep it installed and will keep trying to play with the app to see if I can solve the issue in the future. :)
You can also try looking for UGE (Universal Game Editor), I think it only has version 1.0. The file is called UGE10.zip. See the attached sample so you can get an idea of the file size. If it's different than that, then it may not be a legit file.
If I have time to login later today, I'll see if I can provide the link. There may be a topic or post with the link if you do a search in the general forum.
I've used it to resolve some issues in the DnD gold box games. You may also be able to find .mdl files for some of the older DOS games, including many of the DnD games.

AB2012: I don't own the game, but rather than use random .exe's found on the net, it's often safer to use
Cheat Engine, and then add the
correct game specific table.
Does Cheat Engine work for DOS games? I never tried it myself, so I'm curious.
