imho, yet-another-independant-and-closed-Store/launcher/DRM is NO GOOD at all for customers or for the stability of my computer and its OS

@satoru droving dumptruck full of money on some blind devs is yet slightly less worse than the Microsoft method of just buying and swalliwing it into lifetime exclusives. We already lost Obsidian, InXile and Ninja Theory to this insanity

What puzzles me the most is that those people in the twitter thread only complain about the game not coming to Steam, I couldn`t find one who demands the game to be on GoG.

There are multiple peeps mentioning GOG. But most just don't care for DRM-free, no matter what happens. For them it's "No Steam, no buy".

Steam users love their vanity cards. That said, I did love the ability to trade in Steam (before they messed it up)and the modding community. Just not worth the DRM trade-off in most cases.

So I'm guessing it will come to GOG once initial sales have died on the Epic store. On one side it saddens me as by that stage there's no way I'd pay full value, on the other side it means we'll get access without having to go through Epic.

i think this will backfire in a huge way because a lot of people WILL wait until it's not exclusive anymore (and then buy discounted).
also i'm convinced steam didn't have the 70/30 when it was still smaller and epic will also go 70/30 when it will get bigger.
also i don't give a rats ass about this games story (sadly) because it doesn't continue with trell. i like trell.

Has anyone tried the "paint" system in RGO? There appears to be no way to save anything that you do.
