I was scrolling through GOG this morning and I came across this "Reclaim Your Game" feature, with is both awesome and sad.

When the initiative first rolled, I was able to reclaim a game or two, which is awesome, but I notice that it was last updated in April 2015, with the promise of "more to come."

I think it's safe to say that it's dead now, or are there plans to revive it?

Fast forward to the Steam/GOG linked libraries. A fantastic scheme which really does make me love CDPR even more than I already do, (which is pretty nigh impossible).

Then I notice it says the dreaded words......"more to come."

I hope it doesn't go the same way as Reclaim Your Game......
No news on that, who knows...

Probably change of priorities.
Note that it specifically mentions Steam, so I don't think it will be the case. GOG connect has more than a simple giveaway. It allows GOG to gain more users from Steam's loyal fanbase, whose headcount is massive.

Yeah, but you still have to make an agreement with game's publisher/developer so game can be introduced to GOG Connect - the same goes with GOG Reclaim.

There is another post here about this, but I can't find it at the moment. Recently GOG offered those of us with hard copies of MOO3 a free digital copy if we showed the box. So they are still doing it, but it very hard to get various different publishers to give things away free.
