dtgreene: Actually, I think that particular game is meant to be played with a keyboard, especially given the ability (and often need) to set hotkeys for various actions.
Firebrand9: Then just use
JoyToKey to assign the keys as you see fit.
It'll cover the majority of the basic controls outside on-the-fly hotkeys.
Playing a platformer with a keyboard though?!? Humph!!
The game (Unepic) does support games, so you shouldn't need something like JoyToKey.
Thing is, I think that game, unlike most platformers, is meant to be played with a keyboard. I note that the game has a slower pace than most platformers and a much smaller focus on actual platforming. In fact, late game on Hard++ mode, I ind that the game boils down to knowing what spell to use at the right time. (In RPGs, there's the "linear fighters, quadratic wizards" trope, which you don't usually see in platformers; this one follows the trope, surprisingly enough.)
It's also worth noting that the game's most infamous boss is actually a puzzle boss. Of note, in that particular boss fight, dodging is not a factor in the battle, which is rather unusual for this type of game.
