Caught in the crossfire

Ashes of the Singularity - Gauntlet DLC, a brand new scenario topped with fierce multiplayer maps that bring you back into the fray, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and multiplayer.

This conflict is far from over, commander. Two substrate entities have been fighting a war on a massive scale and on the other side of this chaotic battlefield stands something that you desperately want to get your hands on: a Turinium Generator. Can your RTS prowess and tactical maneuvering compensate for the fact that you are severely outgunned?

Those are the skills you'll also need to employ in order to conquer the 5 new maps available in the Gauntlet. They will take you across snowy fields, high plateaus, and perilous basins, pitting you against the formidable A.I. or your even more formidable friends, as you fight for supremacy over the burning Ashes of the Singularity.

Fight your friends or the overwhelming enemy forces for possession of the coveted Turinium Generator in the Gauntlet DLC, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Another DLC for a high priced game not even 2 months after release. Great!
What else can you expect when the first DLC already is being sold on game release. ;)

A map pack?
I doubt I'd ever buy that.
Of course I don't have the base game yet either.
Too bad this dlc are paying for the 1st owners of the game (1 dlc was free). But it is a very good game that I recommend to all fans of supreme commander.
I see Stardock is continuing their barebone games delivery and then selling missing content as dlc. Still will get Ashes when it gets down to 50% off.

+ No Mac version and very probably no Linux version looking at Stardocks roadmap

Unfortunately its not just limited to stardock. Its like a cancer spreading throughout the gaming industry. Think I'll pass also.
