How do you kill that which has no life?

DEADBOLT, a visceral stealth-action hybrid about bringing Death to the doorstep of those who missed the memo, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

Knock knock. Who's there? Not you, not anymore.

If that joke was any better, you would now be laughing in the face of Death. You really don't want to do that. But it's exactly what these arrogant undead have been doing as of late, forcing the Grim Reaper to come a-knocking to put them out of commision for good.

Naturally, Death is a pretty effective dude when it comes to, well, death-dealing. And despite their defiant name, the undead will learn to fear the reaper's formidable murder skills and firepower. But by some cruel cosmic arrangement, Death constantly lingers just one bullet away from extinction, so sneaking behind enemies is not such a bad idea either. The cool thing is, he can choose to complete any of the 25 demanding missions in any way he sees fit: storming the smelly undead hideouts in full force, taking them out with stealth assassinations, or adapting to the challenge by alternating between these two approaches. All his gruesome antics are beautifully depicted in a dynamic fashion, so no matter which of the 30+ weapons you use when extracting the "un" from the undead, the results will be drop-dead gore-geous.

Become Death incarnate and teach these unruly undead a much-needed lesson in nature's laws in DEADBOLT, DRM-free on GOG.com.

vicklemos: I'm a simple man. I see the reaper himself lockpickin' and I'm all like "whaaaat?" ;D

Controller support gotta be a go on this one..

JudasIscariot: It's not needed as there's no jumping around :) Plays quite well with the keyboard and under Wine :D
Care to provide more details about running this game in Wine? :)

Licurg: Was the bug really that bad ?

tremere110: The game would crash to desktop after a few minutes of playing. It made the game unplayable and unenjoyable. About as bad as it can get as far as bugs go.

*Well, the pools of radiance ruins of myth drannor "delete hard drive" bug was worse - though I never experienced that one personally.

[EDIT] Risk of Rain was quite fun once the bug was fixed. So there's that. It's just that I understand why people wouldn't trust this company after that. I picked up Deadbolt already - GoG is really good with refunds with cases like the above fortunately, in case it happens again.
Well, Risk of Rain is so good that I can't imagine any bug being bad enough for me to ask for a refund. Gonna buy this too as soon as I get the cash .

Look in the Wine thread for this as I already did :P
Does it come with the level editor on gog? The Steam version already has user created levels on the workshop. I would prefer to grab it on gog.

Awesome mate, thanks for confirming.
If this is from creators of Risk of Rain then it is a "day one" purchase for me.
Hopefully it's as awesome as the first one!
It looks pretty sweet, I wonder if the play style is similar to Hotline Miami.
