Last (garbage) man standing

Deponia 4: Deponia Doomsday, the new time-bending chapter in Rufus' misadventures, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 10% launch discount + Gomo added as a FREE bonus.

Remember when we said Goodbye Deponia and [spoiler alert] watched incredulously as Rufus nobly sacrificed himself to save the junkyard world? So does Rufus! Or at least he thinks so. Wait, how is he still alive? Could it all have been just a dream? Did Elysium really fall from the sky soon after? This is all a huge mess and there is only one way out: to travel through time with the help of the eccentric temporal scientist McChronicle and set things right. By doing about 3.2 million wrongs.

Rufus, the self-serving, juvenile, obnoxious-yet-lovable buffoon returns to Deponia Doomsday for another round of point'n'click pandemonium. He is joined by an extensive cast of quirky characters, dozens of new locations atop both Deponia and Elysium, plus his unique brand of unapologetic problem-solving. Want to save the planet(s)? Then you must make waste and recycle the Apocalypse!

Buy the game before April 14 to also get Gomo for FREE. Note that the game will not be added to your library right away but after the promo ends. Those who already own this whimsical puzzler are going to receive a gift code for the game and if for some reason that doesn't happen, you can always contact support for help.

Return to bring Deponia Doomsday before anyone else beats you to it, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until April 14, 1:59 PM UTC

Deponia series promo
Prepare yourself for Doomsday! To celebrate Rufus' fourth coming, all previous three Deponia games are now 80% off as part of a special Deponia series promo that will last until April 14, 1:59 UTC.
Finally?
Is it this expensive due to all the extra?
Is this some sort of special edition? (deluxe, whatever)

Nice release, but $33 is a very steep price when you take into consideration that they gave away Steam keys for the game for $10 on release day (it was included in one of Germany's biggest computer games magazine.
Bought all the Deponia pack now xD
Had the old ones on Steam but I want them on GoG too :p
Nice, will pick it one day to cemplete my Deponia pack on GOG.
And I ever thought that trilogy consist from 3 parts:)

Well the Hitchhiker's Trilogy also consists of five parts (or six if you consider the Eoin Colfer book as part of the series) ;)

nice game indeed, price is less nice.
as you said, 33bucks is a whole lot of money, GoG price reads :29.99 as listprice and 26.99 at sale

Also have game 1,2 and 3 (at sales)

19.99 for the older ones as listprice, thats an affordable listprice.
The last expensivce games i bought (retail) were the famous one: command and conquer, red alert, baldurs gates 1+2 (classics of course) fallout classics, tiberian sun, yuris revenge (69 guilders back then for an excellent expansion)
commandos 1+2 79 guilders back then (a piece) , age of empires (129.99 guilders) and the list goes on, those games were 500% worth all that hard saved money.

Nowadays with digital , people expect a little bit lower price, i guess 20 bucks (euros) will be the highest i can afford and am willing to spend on 1 game (a complete game , not on expansions)
I guess Lords of Xulima was the only game i got >19.99, but thats a good game that looks like a classic, with some modern looking graphics.

i know my buying habbits would never change, not even if i would win 1 million or more, you see, i have some clearly set prices for every product, be it stereos, mobiles, closets, speakers, pc, graphic boards etc etc etc
all things have a price i am willing to fork out for it, that will never change even if i had billions of cash, cause money will never change and can't change the way i am.
I would donate however lots of cash to good causes, like poor abandoned dogs and kittens, i have a weak spot for those poor animals.

Thank goodness there are no spoilers in this announcement for those who haven't finished the third game yet. ~_~

Lol, didn't even consider that.
Great game for a too high price (in my opinion; 15-20 would be fair). I already finished it (got a 9,90€ Steam key from a german computer magazine).
I really can recommend the game to all Deponia fans. But you should play Deponia 1 to 3 first (no need but you will understand the story in a better way).
