Is that a good thing?

106 is a smaller number than 110....sooooo, they did a rollback?
For me, both Factorio and Space Age are coming up as 2.0.7

I'm pretty sure that's what it should be. Not sure if it's now updated for everyone after the launch a half hour ago, or if there are still some problem for some people.

[Edit for typo]

Fantastic, is there an actual linux installer?
Very few times have a full price purchase been such a no-brainer on this website.

Anybody heard anything bad about this game or is it safe for wishlist/purchase?
Nobrainer - instabuy.
Hi,

I've just purchased the DLC on GOG, downloaded, and installed the base game for Linux. However, the DLC is provided as a .exe file, which is unusual for a Linux version. I can run it through Wine, but it states that no base game is available. When I switch from Linux to Windows on the game library page, I see the same .exe files for the DLC, but when I switch back to Linux, it says:

"Unfortunately, there are no files available for the selected language (English) and operating system (Linux) combination."

How can I download and install the Linux version of the DLC from GOG?

You'd probably want to purchase and play the base game first (which will take you a while, it is huge), but yes, unless you have a singular dislike for strategy or base building games, I'd consider getting this to be a no-brainer.

Be advised that days of your life will become unaccounted for following this purchase. This game is insanely addictive. A comparison to various highly addictive opiates would be an exaggeration, but not by that much.

YMMV. I've found the base game to be boring and repetitive. It's quite literally just about building more of the same, scaling horizontally. They even added the blueprints because there's so much copypasta...

I'm hopeful but not exactly super optimistic about the expansion changing my opinion of the game.

Nothing is 100% certain in life. Out of 151k reviews, there are indeed 3% who disliked it. I still consider it a pretty safe bet.

But yes, if you are one of the few who disliked the base game, than waiting would be prudent.

For my part, I had to stop playing solo and limit myself to playing multiplayer when a friend of mine was available (the game can be played in multiplayer offline fyi), because the game was simply too addictive for me otherwise.

The only bad thing about the game is that it is highly addictive, which is in fact a good thing :D
