Is there an ETA for the Linux DLC?

If it's not soon I'll ask for a refund and buy the game on Steam.

Mafwek: Anybody heard anything bad about this game or is it safe for wishlist/purchase?

Magnitus: You'd probably want to purchase and play the base game first (which will take you a while, it is huge), but yes, unless you have a singular dislike for strategy or base building games, I'd consider getting this to be a no-brainer.

Be advised that days of your life will become unaccounted for following this purchase. This game is insanely addictive. A comparison to various highly addictive opiates would be an exaggeration, but not by that much.
Already have the base game, and I can indeed confirm that I did lose track of time whenever I tried playing it:D Unfortunately, I currently have 100% effective way of preventing addiction - broken wrist/right hand:(

Okay, I guess this one can safely go to wishlist for now.

It’s available DRM-free direct from the developer, that way no store is getting in the way of updates. The Linux build of the expansion is obviously already available from them.

Had the same issue. Get the serial key from GOG (game -> more -> serial keys), add key on factorio.com account, download installer.

I did that, and it worked. Thanks!

The downloads for Linux seem to have been updated now. I haven't verified them; I went through the route of downloading directly from factorio.com.

I'm sorry to hear that :(. I wish you a speedy recovery with your wrist/hand.

Oh, it takes GOG keys as well? Huh, that's nice.

Also, noticed how on steam the game (and DLC, actually) costs full 32€ (and from one of the earlier FFF's that's intended), but 31.99€ here on GOG?
50 bucks for an expansion is insane.
Yeah that is a damned expensive DLC. I don't know if I can justify that kind of price. I'll wait until it's on sale.

Noishkel: I'll wait until it's on sale.
Yeah, about that...
Wait, 50$‽ It's a 2D factory game, not Age of Empires!

And it's sold separately, which means if you don't buy, enjoy missing out! This is also why I've refused to buy the Parkitect DLC. I am that petty. Give me complete editions.
