Who wants to be a monster slayer?

FORCED SHOWDOWN, the roguelike/deckbuilding sensation based on the galaxy's most deadly TV show, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com with a 12% launch discount.

Welcome, esteemed guests and bloodthirsty viewers! You are watching FORCED SHOWDOWN, the game show that is not afraid to hack, slash, or disintegrate its contestants for your continuous entertainment! There will be no questions asked here tonight, save this one: do you feel ready to enter the Gladiator arenas and spill some blood? Sure, it can be your own, our audience loves that!

Cards are an integral part of any TV show and FORCED SHOWDOWN is no different. Only, instead of containing lame jokes, song cues, and reminders of the contestants' names, here they feature creatures, abilities, spells, and pretty much everything you need to survive the deadly arenas you are thrown into. Since the daily challenges and tournament rules will be constantly changing, so must you if you are to please the crowd and claim the show's prestigious prizes. Down in our Gladiator arenas one can find useful items and potential companions but also unphotogenic monsters and cunning traps. Do you think you can overcome these challenges and become our next crowd favorite? Do you--- Wait, was that a T-Rex that just entered the studio? Ugh, not again... Go to commercials!

Build a powerful deck, show the other contestants your war face, and enter the constantly shifting arenas of FORCED SHOWDOWN, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 12% launch discount will last until April 5, 19:59 BST / 11:59 AM PDT / 2:59 PM EDT.

JMich: Yes.

What do you mean that is not an answer?
July 22, 2008 had 21 games.
March 29, 2016 had 12 games.
August 26, 2015 had 8 games.

Tell me if you want said data to be added to the spreadsheet, assuming I can recall how I did it.
So, with the exception of GOG's launch, this is indeed the highest number of releases in a single day.

So far.

JMich: So far.
But of course. Where's the fun in unbreakable records?

Grargar: 12 releases in one day.

@JMich, is that a new record or there have been better days?
13, actually. 11 from 2K, plus this, plus The Last Door Season 2.

I'm glad to see this here. Hoping we'll get the original Forced as well.

Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich is a re-release so I don't count it.

Freedom Force vs the Third Reich is a rerelease, thus why we didn't count it as a release. If we do count rereleass, I think Nordic may take the lead.

That would be cheating. :P

GOG and Nordic are like the Ross and Rachel of the gaming world.
Great, I am happy that this kickstarter release 3 months earlier then promised.

They are very very hardworking devs that sacrificed a lot.

So is this game more focused on the cards or on the action?
Going to have to check a few videos of this to understand it...
Wishlisted. Was planning on picking this up today - then Take 2 happened...

That's such a Phoebe thing to say!
Somehow it reminds me of Warcraft 3, although they doesn't have anything in common. Not sure if I'm interested in what I saw in the trailer & description so I guess I'll pass for now.
Was thinking of buying this, but now I see there's already content on Steam that isn't on GOG. Will GOG be getting the Deluxe Edition, or no?
