Big hero fix

Goliath, an island full of monsters ready to be punched by your hand-assembled robot, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 20% launch discount.

Oh man, another detachable saw blade? Your robo-giant doesn't need more murder-power, what he needs is extra mobility. Perhaps you can somehow modify him to zoom across the hostile terrain on this? That would be cool. But you'll need the appropriate blueprints, so better keep exploring.
Ever since you found yourself on this mysterious island, building your Goliath to fight off the monstrous inhabitants has been your priority. Thankfully, this procedurally-generated world is full of salvageable wreckage from past civilizations that you can use. The problem is, it's also become the battleground for several warring factions fighting over its resources. Could your custom-crafted Goliath be the one to decide the outcome of this brutal conflict?

Collect materials, build your unique Goliath and pit him against ferocious beasts, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 20% discount will last until May 19, 4:59 PM UTC.
Beautiful and maybe a good sandbox/non-linear game.
Looks interesting.
Huh? Where did this come from?
this looks pretty neat, definitely going to pick this up.
Looks beautiful and I love the customization part of the game, will watch a gameplay video later today.
Why does it looks like that tales of warewolf game?
Looks amazing, but can't push that much this minute.

I think someone in this forum, or maybe it was my computer tech guy here, told me about this.
looks interesting, but I found almost no coverage of the game, only a kickstarter vid, in which the dev eats chili instead of presenting us the game and one letsplay, which is one month old at which point the game was in pre-alpha and now it's out?
Apparently I have an early build of this available from a Humble Bundle. Downloading it now to see what the game is like.

What's the issue with chili, man? Huh?! HUH?? ;D
Kinda reminds me of Bumpy Trot on PS2. Yet another no budget disasterpiece from the simple 2000 range that ended up being far more entertaining than it had any right to be. As such it is absolutely going on the wishlist. Never heard of it until now, but really am quite interested in seeing how this one turns out.

Oh how much I wish some more of those Simple Series titles could be reborn today. Sadly the only ones that seem to have survived in any real way are OniChanBara and Earth Defense Force. There were so many other pure Gems of terrible in there. Ambulence vs zombies, Michigan: report from Hell, Cat Fight, Cowboy Samurai just to name a few.

Then there was Disaster Report and the sequel Raw Danger. Best. Games. Ever.
A really nice looking art style for once, and the concept of the game seems interesting. Does it have a storyline, or is it mostly about open-ended sandbox gameplay?
Nice. Kinda get an Iron Giant vibe from the artwork. Wishlisted!
Played the (allegedly pre-alpha, though only like three months have passed since the bundle) early build a bit. I think the full game could be fun, but I'm not quite sold on it yet. It really depends on how much they've polished up and fixed since then. In the early build, the controls can't be rebound, picking up items is really tedious and annoying, overall it's lacking in polish (sound effects especially, a lot of stuff is just silent), and the combat is kind of rough. There are these boar-like enemies that charge you and knock you down even if you block, and it seems like there's little you can do to avoid getting hit over and over again by them.

Again, all of this is just from a short amount of time with an early-build, though how much has changed since then I really don't know. The idea that they went from pre-alpha to release in three months is a huge red flag in my opinion.
