I think I could enjoy this game.
But I too am reluctant to rely on the developer and publisher.

It's on my watch-list for a while.

Damn, looks like something I might like as well, but I'm with my brussels sprouts loving friend and would like to see answers to some questions. And still not sure I'd trust it would keep parity with the Steam version. Will wait and watch, I guess. Maybe wishlist it.

this looks great for touch devices (respective resolution and user interface) - seeing tinybuild is active on google play, i'll wait for this there.

also, the skeleton thumbs up looks adorable ^^
