timppu: What's with the Japanese and their drifting?
Why can't they just drive properly like the rest of us?
Tires must be cheaper in Japan.
Looks like a lot of fun.

syscrusher: License expiry is all the more reason to buy at GOG and burn games to M-discs or save to one's own network.

GOGer: you use m-discs or just "know" about them?
if you do, tell me more...
@GOGer - I've been using M-discs since Blu-ray (25 GB) versions became available at Amazon. They're costly but worth it because their lifespan is about indefinite. The US military conducted extreme environmental tests and determined they retain data where all other media formats failed. In boiling water, in ice, exposed to the desert 24/7 for a month. I've burned all my favorite and most important GOG titles to M-discs and store them in commercial grade full size DVD cases. It's like creating physical media now rarely made by game publishers.

timppu: What's with the Japanese and their drifting?
The origins of the drifting 'sport' can be traced back to a single chilly evening in April of the year 1966, at a Tokyo cinema, with Kunimitsu Takahashi viewing Tokyo Drifter (by Seijun Suzuki - a director known for their 'unique' B-movies).

Upon exiting the theater, and returning to his home, having been deeply affected by the film, Takahashi-san had contemplated the current direction of his life.
"If a human with little traction drifts, perhaps an automobile may be retrofitted to perform the equivalent action."
With absolutely zero regard for the consequences of this insidious idea, 'drifting' had been conceived.

@RekontVerlon - Yeah,I use the Blu-ray (BD) format of M-discs. They're 25 GB each. M-discs also comes in DVD format that's about 4.5 GB. To best burn and read either BD or DVD format M-discs, use an optical drive marked with the M-disc logo. Bought it. Love it. Praying it does well enough to get Toyota’s and Mitsubishi’s blessings to add their cars to the roster. I hope they get Initial D’a blessing too. Would absolutely love to get Deja Vu on the air while playing this.

<del>Also want this car in this game asap:</del>

Haha. Silly me. It’s already in the game. The Subaru BRZ. Wait, does that count?
