Now on GOG!
Nice! This is finally out.
I'll be honest, on it's own merits I'm not sure if this would grab my attention. But I enjoyed GIbbous so much, I feel obliged to give the devs the benefit of the doubt. Still, I'll definitely wait for reviews and probably a bigger discount.

Although I'll admit, I'm actually tempted to also get the Clothes and Hair pack when I eventually buy the game, something I normally wouldn't ever do, just because apparently it allows for making the protagonist kind of look like Daria.

Backgrounds look like a severe downgrade in quality compared to Gibbous. I'm not a fan of character design either.
Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure was the most fun I had with such an adventure game since The Curse of Monkey Island, so I’m very happy to see the release of Near-Mage!

I plan on buying it next week, and start playing it right after that. Probably the full pack with all the extras, the asked price seems reasonable.
This release reminded that I haven't played Gibbous yet. *whistles innocently as he fetches it from the backlog storeroom*
Great that GOG is trying to add better (any) bundle support.
Really bad that this game alone I can buy here for 17.99, but the bundle with Gibbous (just contains the two base games), which I own, shows a notice telling me that the price automatically lowers for the games I already own, dropping (heh) the total to a nice 26.99. <sigh>
