my concern, as not a fan of souls-likes, is that this took a souls-like turn. though I've yet to play technomancer and greedfall, and by the time (if ever) I'm done, they'll probably have made another regular rpg.

I think I'm tired of Overrated AAA...nice AA games do the job and are DRM free on GOG :)

They definitely do. I've liked their games all the way from Of Orcs and Men and Mars: War Logs. Greedfall was great and if the trend continues, this should be even better.

Thinking about breaking my "no non-discount purchases" rule :P

Is there any reason to buy the Bastille Edition, or is it literally the base game + the Discus Chain DLC for a higher price than buying them separately?

Edit: ah, it also includes a forthcoming DLC, which presumably explains the price.
