Greetings,

Recently purchased this game and I ran into a problem right after Act 1. The Gun Range !
"Solutions" all over the internet and unless I use a cheat engine, which might come with mites, fleas & virii,
I will not get past it. Console port game, very bad on aiming, as a KB & Mouse player. It's not how fast the mouse turns it's the INACCURACY of where it stops, nobody knows. Did fine in the adventure cause I can take my time aiming. Also my Auto-9 does not fire in auto mode, as some suggest, it's an earned/skill upgrade but nobody tells you what that is/means. As my 2 level up points I took Armor & Vitality. Do I need to replay ? Is there a cheat to skip the whole thing ? I'd hate to think I paid for a 30min. game.

Thanks.

Auto-9 has its own menu section where you will later be able to swap motherboards and attach percentage nodes to the selected board, automatic fire being one of the perks you can enable on the first board as long you can open a path to it.

As for the aiming difficulty, I have also had issues with that, so I am planning to test if this game plays a bit better with a gamepad, as I have lately seen a few games having major framerate drops under WINE whenever I move my high polling rate mouse any faster than a few millimeters per second.
Didn't had problems with aiming.
But you are holding a pistol in the default config, not a rifle.
And in the first part of the game, it isn't the worst option to take a weapon from your dead enemies instead of the Auto9.

You will get a Motherboard for the Auto 9 early on and you can find others in missions and switch between them.
And in some kind of pipemania you should try to get as many bonus things as possible without hitting the red ones.
Your very first tutorial board got auto fire.

So you cannot get it before the Gun Range episode. Of course I use enemy weapons, not a combat rookie here.
Are you saying I skipped the tutorial and that's why I don't have it ?

AS882010M0:
pretty sure the first motherboard comes in after the first proper mission is done.
Started Mission 1 Again, scoured the whole news building, no mb for the gun, no electronics at all, before reaching the Range.

You get the board in the police station from the eggheads there.

Oh, ok, so I need to find them before I go to the range, thanks.

Afaik it is marked as a target and a (secondary?) objective after some evaluation stuff happening.

Unfortunately the game's progression goes like this:

1. Tutorial mission
2. Police station and its gun range
3. First larger area where you can complete side missions before completing the main objective
4. Back to the police station, where you can obtain the first motherboard after the evaluation

I have been too busy to play the game lately, so I don't yet know if there is any kind of aim assist with a gamepad, but if there is, then it might be a superior way to get past the gun range anyway, as auto fire could easily cause you to spend even more time reloading the Auto-9 in that segment.
The objectives aren't as auto-marked as one would like to think especially in the sidequests. you're gonna have to manually activate them in the objectives screen fo it show up on the hud.
Ok, thanks to everyone contributing, *sigh* connect gamepad for this game, then disconnect for all others.
Will try but very disappointing. Why did they make it 50pts. on Easy mode ?

because eventually youll far succeed it (should you choose) because of robocops increased skills and the motherboards.
you are not the chosen one.
you are robocop.
