When I was younger I played a adventure which had a ego perspective. I remember a cobra (which you could shoot), a plane and a tank (later in the story) and that you could also use a revolver. I think the game played in Tibet or another area in Asia. The game should be from the early 1990s but had decent graphics for that time.

Does anyone might know the name?

Aren't ego-shooter called ego-shooter in the Netherlands? In Germany the word ego-perspective (German: Egoperspektive) is still used.

Nobody I know has ever referred to them as such.
If they had, I would've made every effort to 'unknow' them.
