Hello everyone,
as a child I saw the trailer for a rail shooter and since then I am always trying to find out what the name of the game is.
I saw the trailer on a demo disk around the same time as Command and Conquer so about 1995.
It looked to be an on rail shooter, maybe its more open world, I cannot say. The trailer/cgi intro went like this:

"A man sitting on his sofa drinking a beer, all of a sudden he starts to spasm and a goo/virus emerged from him. It quickly enveloped himself and his house, quickly spreading to the street (and causing a car to crash if i Remember correctly). Afterward we see the protagonist ( a women) in a lab coat. They build a hovering vehicle to fight the virus. Then her coworker ( looking like a crazy scientist) knocks her out and puts her in that vehicle and then the trailer/intro end."

I hope someone knows something about this game...not even sure if it actually released. Bugging me since 25 years XD
Like I said before its not necessarily an on rail shooter but the pictures looked like it.

rail shooter game? as in those Rambo games you had back then simulating arcade machines.. i wouldn't mind if gog would put up a few of those

Hm, so you only remember the intro or trailer, and nothing about the gameplay? 3D or 2D? First person, third person perspective? On foot or vehicle? DOS, Windows, or a different system? 1995 would be before FPS shooters started to get more cinematic and focused on storytelling, before e.g. Outlaws (1997), before Quake (1996) even, and before the iconic third person shooter / action adventure heroine of Tomb Raider (1996) as well ...

Do you remember where the demo disc was from? Did it come with a magazine, for example?

It sure sounds like one of those wacky cartoon-style 90s games. You might have better luck asking on Reddit, I think r/tipofmyjoystick.

Beast Busters?

Unfortunately its not Beast Buster.
@Lerous: I only remember those parts from the trailer and there was nothing else. No real gameplay just think I remember that one screenshot where I saw that person on that hovering "Bike" and there were the monsters around. It was a 3d game but more in the 3d we know from Doom. So no real 3d. System was either DOS or Windows. One semed to steer the vehicle in the third person.
