Gifts are not normally region locked. If there is an issue with a specific game, the purchase switches to "buy" and you can't gift it.

Someone will have to check me on this.

You jumped the gun by buying gifts now. You really should have waited until I assigned you a giftee. Then, you would have seen their wishlist and bought them things they wanted. I'm not really sure what to do about your situation. I will have to think about it for a bit. In the meantime, I will not touch the codes you sent.

You also asked about what if there is not another sale until after Christmas. I would not worry about this at all. GOG knows that people want to buy Christmas gifts during the winter sale, so I am confident there will be a sale to take advantage of before Christmas.

I also want to point out that I am in the USA. You posted your questions at 4 AM my time. That is why I did not reply right away. And by the time I saw your messages you had already bought games. I am not sure why you did that either, since the current sale will continue for 5 more days. You were not under any time pressure.

As I said, I will think about how to handle your situation. Can you get a refund from GOG? That would be the best if it is possible. If it is not, I will need to think for a while. I will get back to you in a few days. It is a long holiday weekend here for me. I may not be on much.

Refund is the way to go, if possible but failing that, perhaps you can parse the entrants' wishlists and assign her one of the participants that have those games/that game on their list. That's probably a lot of effort on your part though, which you don't need on top of the amount required to do this Secret Santa thing.

Oh, but you just have to wait 11.12.(or 12.11.) and send codes then. You don't need to assign me since I made a (honest) mistake, and person who got gift should receive it on dec.11.

How could refund fail? According to the TOC Beatrice has 30 days to refund without any questions until she has not downloaded the agme (which probably is not the case). So at least om GOGs side there should not be any problem.

Yeah, I don't think there will be an issue either, but one never knows for sure... ;)
