Hi there, so i've just bought the Settlers 4 from here and managed to play. There comes the problem. I saw the the cinematics , animations whatever are these things after you launch it. But after it all ended, my screen just became black and said to me "No Signal". Ye theres no cabel or any problem like that. What should i do? I have win10.

Is your PC connected to a TV or a proper computer monitor ?.

Ofc, i mean yea for sure, its a proper Acer monitor, shouldn't be problem with my monitor. You know, its connected otherwise how would i abble to do things on my PC, its only happens when the cinematics ends.

Glad that I checked this thread again, I only get a notice if you quote me by using the quoting feature on this forum.

Anyway, I try to help.

You start the programm, click on "Add" and choose the .exe (the file you click on so the game starts). You have to figure out the settings yourself since I deleted my own but I remember that I checked all checkmarks and put Video mode to "Aspect corrected stretch" and scaling method to "nearest".

Perhaps doing this is already enough to make the game run.

EDIT: I remember that I also used DXGL in conjunction with dgVoodoo 2 which is less complicated than DXGL. Perhaps try out both.

Well, i have done something,, it starts the game whatsoever but in game i dont see anything what belongs to me or to the enemy, i mean i dont see the peasants buildings whatever just the nature :DD

I've tried it, but it made my screen again black lewl. Perhabs im gonna wait my brother, hes working atthe Oracle and will come to home soon, he gonna do it prbbly :D

It works perfectly for me though, even without any external fixes.

Do you have DirectDraw enabled? Do you have it installed outside a Windows folder (like Program Files)?
(just some basics that cover a lot of old games in Windows (10).
