Anyone think GOG will match that with a Chinese New Year themed sale of their own?

Outside of that, no we haven't heard anything. GoG appears to not publish sales data ahead of time outside of the occasion mislaunch and quick retraction.

TIL: The Chinese New Year is also called the Lunar new year or Spring Festival.

No gog won't because steam prices are much cheaper. So steam will get most of the money from most wallets.
