I'm a big fan of Spiders... Mars War Logs, Technomancer, Bound by Flame... and have been growing in anticipation for Greedfall. Yesterday it released IMHO a great trailer with "street dates" in September, but... GOG wasn't listed... just Steam. *sigh*

Looks like I'll either buy this on console or wait it out for a possible GOG release one day?

Wow, disappointing.

I mean, they haven't brought their other games here. Why would they bring the new one.

I will only buy on Steam if games are a couple of dollars or if they are only on Steam. I consider DRM games "expendable" -- only worth a playthrough and not ownership (which I feel warrants a bigger price tag). To me, that's only worth a dollar or two. So, no... I tend not to buy outside of GOG.

Hmmm... I guess I'd assumed they were here, but you're right they're not.

I guess that answers my question: I'll be purchasing the game on console. :(

Wow, Spiders content seems perfect AA content for GOG. Wonder why they wouldn't release here?

Not much to say but i'm unlike you i'm certainly not impressed by their previous efforts in fact i think those are pretty damn bad but as to why i don't know, perhaps they don't like drm free and would use pirates as an excuse to not sell them here, maybe GOG is too small to bother and they dislike the "extra" work regardless of how little it may actually be.

Mail them and ask why directly and pray for an answer.
People seem to forget that most of the time it's the publisher's decision whether or not game X is sold on GoG. In case of the Spiders games it's Focus Home Interactive which is notorious for being not interested releasing their newer bigger titles DRM-free and on GoG.

Now I don't know what caused them to temporarily ignore their stance with Vampyr but maybe that's a sign for reconsideration and eventually doing the same with other titles from their publishing catalogue (incl. Spiders games) in the not too distant future.
Bound By Flame has been released this week.. so maybe Technomancer etc. are coming?
Am sure I read somewhere it was a DRM free release.

This is so, Denuvo is not. I also hope for the release of the game in GOG.

Considering that this studio has never made a good game, I don't think it's much of a loss.

Our world is crashing down on us. How can we survive without this game. I can't go on!
Well, count me in for hoping it releases on GOG. We could use more of this kind of "AA" game. Even a bad "AA" game is preferable to me than more pixel indies. That is not to say Greedfall is bad (don't know either way) or that pixel indies are bad.
Reviews on steam are very positive, today, we call that success.

I prefer to buy on GOG. But if games aren't released here, I also buy on itch.io, zoom-platform and humble, if the game is DRM-free. But I never, ever buy a game with DRM or a game that requires me to install a proprietary client.
I'm going to wait for sale anyway if I decide to buy it. Maybe by then they will bring rest of their games to gog.
