As the subject says, Kickstarter for the second game is live :-) So far only Steam keys are available in the pledge rewards, but if you do not mind, the people deserve all of the support. :-)

Maybe I'll get this game once it's actually possible to download a DRM-free version.

(I bought the original StarCrawlers when it was still in-dev here, but haven't gotten around to playing it.)

(I've decided on a rule for in-dev purchases for now; the game must be in one of my favorite genres (DRPG (like Wizardry) or SaGa-like) for me to buy it, unless the game is really good and worth the price (to me) in its current form. This may resemble my rules for paying full price for games that might cost $40 or more; so far, I've bought 2 NISA games under this rule.)

You'll probably not like the real-time "evade the camera" or "time your way through the traps/hazards" sections. The rest of the game is completely turn-based - should be right up your alley. I enjoyed it a lot.

Enjoyed the game a lot as well, and the devs were very responsive to bug reports, and fixing them promptly. Just in case, there is a wishlist already :-)
