When The Pillars of Eternity and The Witcher 3 were released, so were the strategy guides. Now that the games have had updates and DLCs, the books are obviously not updated. Not that I am complaining! The books are great!

Do the publishers rerelease the titles at a later date with the updated information, or do they only release them in pdf format?

I could only find one site that would sell an e-guide, that did include the updated information, but, it required an account AND online access. Not interested in that.

I just want something simple that I can either read or look up real quick and not have to worry about having online access.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
First stop when I want a strategy guide, is gamepressure.com and they keep them updated too. Witcher 3 with Heart of Stone and Pillars with White March 1 and 2.
Guides are free as webpages, only the pdf versions (if available) cost money.
i have the witcher 3 e-guide on primagames. it's not free, it's not a pdf & it's not updated for HoS. probably doesn't have updates like the "taxman" update. :-/

Yeah. Somehow, still, Witcher 3 lacks a proper GOG extra, which happens to be STRATEGY GUIDE!

Both Witcher 1 and 2 had one; where is 3's?
I really need a guide for RPGs. First time I played witcher 3 game, didn't know anything about upgrades and completed most of the main game. Second time I said I will try to understand how to play it properly. Did some side quests, some main game, barely any upgrades.

It's the same with Skyrim. Started the game, killed a guide, no idea what to do, ran around hacking and slashing. Got bored of doing favours. Closed

I need a half decent guide for these games. Especially since I have bought the expansion pass and barely started it. I'm on the 'everyone's loco' bit right at the start. Primagames is way too detailed and outdated and online only means it can't be used to accompany the game much
