For me, Edguy's 2014 (and possibly final) album, Space Police: Defenders of the Crown has one of the dumbest covers I've ever seen. It's crazy, though, because it's actually in my top 3 albums of theirs.

The album name and the design for the first part makes sense, but "Defenders of the Crown"? and why the police?

I like the colours, but the graphics look a bit like clipart imo.

That's what a lot of fans were asking as well haha. I believe the vocalist (who also writes all their music) said something about how the band couldn't decide which song they wanted to have as the title track, so they made both of their choices into the title track.

It's definitely not their best album art, that's for sure. I'd say their earlier albums have much better art, such as their 1999 album (Theater of Salvation) and their 2000 re-recording of their debut (The Savage Poetry).

(￢_￢;) To me the iconic Nirvana - Nevermind seems stupid, and without context, Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here too. Billy Joel - River of Dreams creativity is rather poor. Michael Jackson - History pretentiousness made me shake my head more than once. The king of Pop must have had his ego up to the roof to display his statue by himself.
