I don't understand what your saying.

But yes, every game should have subtitles.
(I somehow expect sarcastic comments about subtitles.)
Would anyone be interested in an "add subtitles to fairfox posts" forum feature :op

Oh, I forgot to post this before.

So I played the Turok 2 "Remaster" recently. I'm not very good at shooter games, but despite this I liked the first game in the series even if it hasn't aged very well. I'd never played the sequal.

I can't... it makes my head hurt and I should be working

Personally, I think text should be the default and voice acting should be the thing you have to turn on.

I am used to seeing what people seem to call subtitles simply because the games I prefer were generally released before voice acting became a standard feature, or are made in the style of such games.

In any cases, I prefer text over voice when it comes to dialog in games.

(There's also the fact that reading text is faster than listening to voice for most people.)

So, I played turok 2 ‘remaster’ recently. I’m crap at shooters games but still, I like the first in the series even if now a days it is messy as donald trumps messy hair. I would never have played two prior (side note: I find it too long and confusing and it never ever ends)

Remaster = yes I guess but they didn’t add subtitles
but and a big but the cutscenes have to be ridiculous loud music that completely drowns out the voices and worst still is the alien woman is so softly spoken. She would often talk about the objectives (or I think she does) I cannot properly tell so I would keep on failing. Even if people had impeccable hearing then I would think they would struggle to hear two voices.
So yeah, I am going back is there any excuse for games now a days not to offer subtitles? I mean totally new games, remastered etc
Stuff that has been worked on post 2010s, tweaks etc (I’’m confused here)

I don’t think it is right at all
I can’t hear jack shit and I don’t think it is too much to ask for

I tried my best at translating it
