For those who don't know, Otherside Entertainment is a studio founded by ex-Looking Glass guys most notably, Paul Neurath. They ran the successful Underworld Ascendant kickstarter earlier this year which is a spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld

This is a pipe dream... they want to make money and making players think hurts this... You need to tailor your game to the man without a brain. Or minimally allow all choices to be viable to beat the game.

Very likely scenario. Night Dive propably is thinking, that while a remake of the first can be done by any competent team by following the original design the SS3 needs to be done the original developers.

I nearly fell of my chair reading this! I hope it will be a true System Shock game though and not some generic FPS that looks like SS.
