I have come across TV shows from the past. It is amusing to see how we have progressed but at the same time there is also the lack of use from modern tech and in some areas haven't got to the stage where these shows predicted we should be.

In Britain when the BBC was a better organisation there was a show called Tomorrows World which had an intelligent take on current and future technology.

Tomorrow's World 1992
The highlights here are the 3D TV technology but more importantly at the 13:37 (lol) time they have the possibility of making computers that run on light instead of electricity.

Tomorrows World 1987 the race for mars. The comment at the end speaks volumes.
The question is not whether a man will land on mars but whether it will be before the year 2000.
It covers space stations and shuttles, space drugs, health effects and biospheres.

Here is one that might rattle some memory banks. XD

Automan
also you can go on youtube and search for Bad Influence it was a 90's kids gaming show it had things like amiga's SNES, megadrives etc also had a cheats sectio nwhere u have to enter codes and also when you watch it look at the price of amiga games compared to lisecned games
Here's Tomorrows world from 1990 on Virtual reality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2CYLlSn1gA

It starts off with augmented reality before moving on to the old fashioned VR head sets and simulators. What stands out is a lot of this technology should have been standard for the PC ages ago. Head tracking virtual gloves are easily done.
The tech we have now has taken about 25 years to come out in less than ideal circumstances.

I remember it along with Gamesmaster which focused on competitions alongside the news. Bad influence had more focus on tech.
