Hello!

Edit: sorry guys, I forgot to say "please".

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkMFYMG3QLw

Dreamlist (thanks to Swedrami for providing the link to Dreamlist): https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/terminator-2d-no-fate

Wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/terminator_2d_no_fate

Note: The GoG forum is doing that thing again. I apologize if my previous attempt to post this appears.

A 2D game based on the second film is coming out September 5th of this year. I saw the trailer and it's giving me Aliens: Infestation vibes. It's a side scrolling shooter.

You actually get to fight HK aerials and an HK tank, so it's not a 1:1 copy of the movie. I like that they are expanding on the story and enemy types. The thing I'm looking forward to the most is playing as naked Arnold.

It's coming to PC, but only on Steam and Epic (at the time of posting). Looking at the type of game this is I think there's no reason not to bring it here.

There is no fate but what we make for ourselves...and if you vote for it on the wishlist our fate is getting this game on GoG.

What do you think of it?

Edit: wait a minute...it's made by Reef. They brought the previous Terminator game here, but this one is not scheduled for a GoG release.

J Lo: What do you think of it?
Looks awesome. Good pixel graphics for a change, and going all retro just works for an adaptation of a movie like this. I'm just afraid that if I ever get to play it, the contrast between how badass Arnie is supposed to be and how much I'll get my ass handed to me will kinda ruin the "movie" feeling :D

Still, I really hope it will come to GOG.

Mostly reminds me of the Ash vs Evil Dead side-scroller I made a similar thread about a while back.

Will never come here.
It's published by Reef Entertainment, the same company that refuses to discount Terminator Resistance, they only game here.

Reminds of the NES T2 game (haven't played it myself, I watched someone else). I thought it was hilarious that these random nameless biker thugs could hold their own against an ultra violent futuristic killing machine. I have a feeling I'm going to lose a lot to them, too XD

The Halloween and Evil Dead games looks incredible. Wish I knew about it sooner. I +1'd the wishlist. Thanks!

I'm really tempted to make a "D" joke :(

Made by Bitmap Bureau, so it should be decent. They've made a couple of good pixelart games with Xeno crisis being probably their most well known one, although they didn't break into the mainstream much - a licensed game like this will definitely help in regards to that. I would say the game should be alright, something in the vein of T2 Judgement day dos game style-wise.
Dreamlist entry
This actually looks really, really good, that is some stellar 32-bit pixel art, oh and it's from the Bitmap Bureau? Ok, i'm on board, wake me when it arrives on G...

"Reef Entertainment"

Oh god damn it.

They have a few games here, so maybe there's hope of it coming to GoG. Reef doesn't seem to like GoG all that much, though.

Thanks. I wanted to make a Dreamlist entry but I was confused about how the Dreamlist works.

Edit: I put it in the OP to make it more visible.

Yet Terminator: Resistance still made it onto GoG eventually.
Which may imply that even in case of Reef Entertainment as the publisher it's still the developer (Teyon for Terminator: Resistance or, in this case Bitmap Bureau for Terminator 2D: No Fate) that has the last say on which platforms the title in question gets released.
And Bitmap Bureau seems to be quite forthcoming in regards to releasing DRM-free on GoG.
