There is a forum in Spain called Zonaforo Meristation where there is a thead where the PCGaming community can post stuff about the PC Gaming, its called PC's RESERVOIR DOGS. We post some Off Topic too but there are sometimes when we celebrate what we call "PACOTADAS". In that time we giveaway PC games to each other and we make videos about it.

Now is the "PACOTADAS 6666" (because we reach last Friday the page 6666 of the thread) and till now we giveaway more than 300 games includin a Dark Souls 3, Fallout 4, a Steam Controller... There is one who has raffle a Half Life 3 (he says that if one day it becomes reality he will give a key to the winner LOL)

Now we are in the page 7195 and we continue giving away random keys or big games.

I cant post any links :(

zonaforo meristation -> Meristation Consolas -> PCs reservoir dogs and the you go to page 6666 ;)

I don't see the special appeal, they're rather commonplace.

Yup, that is intentional by design as part of GOG's anti-spam technology(TM). It is present to prevent people who don't really have any intention of being a part of the community here (and bots) from creating new accounts on the forums for the sole purpose of spamming links to other websites, sales promotions, scams and other spam because that used to be common previously (which it sounds like you may have also been trying to do).

In order to post links on GOG forums, you have to be a member for a while and develop a reputation by being a part of the community and gaining rep points. Eventually if people show that they are actually human and not spammers or scammers, then they will be able to post links.

That is a little annoying for legitimate new users for a while, and they probably could and should come up with superior anti-spam tech, but it is the way it works in a nutshell presently anyhow.

P.S. For some reason, the title of this thread makes me want to eat a table full of tacos.
