Well, starting on the fourth season of Buffy, Angel was a seperate series featuring several characters from Buffy, doing their own thing. A lot of the storylines cross over, as the series run in parallel for four seasons. Then Buffy ends, and Angel goes on for one more season. Sounds complicated but it's not. Both series are fantastic. I held off on watching them for many years, thinking they were crap. So, this is coming from someone that was prejudiced against Buffy. And I'm saying that it's a must-watch.
