Why do radio stations choose to play the short versions of 3-5 minute songs? I'm talking songs like "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Shout", not In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" or "Thick as a Brick". It's not as if radio stations normally have hard-and-fast time schedules to meet, unlike TV; even if they do, the DJ can use more or less chatter to make things fit. Chopping just 15 seconds can jar ones' expectation if a person, say, owns the long version from the album. Just want to throttle the program directors. Irritating to hear the short version of "Radar Love".

Will radio - including online stations that aren't subject to 'decency' regulations - ever play the uncensored version of Everlast's "What It's Like"? I don't care one way or another about the song itself, but listening to it sounds like a kid playing around with his Casio keyboard sound effects.

Actually they do if they're getting content pipped in. I know here in Charlotte, we have the John Boy and Billy show (OK, shop laughing) which goes out over syndication to over a hundred stations. The music and the local content is scheduled around the content coming from them which is done via a satellite feed.

In that case, sure. But when they advertise "90 minutes commercial free!" I think there's plenty of time (90 minutes) to play the longer, aka correct, versions.

The guns didn't seem to fire very far (a bit like Dogs of War's cheapest guns), and the aliens were close to Aliens but not quite enough to be an official Alien game, which was a bit disappointing. I ended up playing Alien Syndrome instead, in co-op. For me, Team17 were above all the Worms dudes. For pure real-time action I was going to Bullfrog, Psygnosis and The Bitmap Brothers.

Why is there always one green chip in a bad of potato chips?

IT NEVER FAILS!

In 42 years on this planet I have never come across a bag, big or small, that didn't have at least one green chip (and typically only one which makes even more disturbing); regardless of the brand or the flavor.

I keep imagining an assembly line with one guy whose job it is to put a green chip in every bag.

hearing about potato the green bit is some kind of poison they produce iirc, seems like cooking it kills it, no idea why it's not removed aswell, also these crisp system can be fully auto, i watched a TV program that they said 1potato=1bag(small bag, not the bigger version), i had 1bag with the roots/something similar or potato and got couple of coupon when i complain about it
