Fixed various bugs for me and the game runs smoother than ever! Till now I have had hard time running this game 60fps at 4K resolution but now it seems I don't dip under 55 anymore with SLI TItan X running under 25% OC. Just saying you guys are doing amazing job patching this game! This is the best single player game ever by the far, even left Morrowind to second place! Keep up the good work!
Hope there's no incompatibility problem with the mods I have installed. Yay for update!

SLI Titan X?
That's like 2000 euros.
And now it runs smoother?
Damn.

ymgve: Also - REMEMBER TO ENABLE DLC AGAIN. The previous DLC seems to now be consolidated into a single "Free DLC Program" which seems disabled by default. Not enabling that might result in your save games not working.
avatar
Liosan: That doesn't sound right. Do you have "Install updates" set to "Automatically", or did you manually choose to update?

avatar
Vapnik: There's no option to enable the DLC for me, now I can't load my save games...
avatar
Liosan: That sounds very bad :| Could show us a screenshot of that, and send us the log file C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs\GalaxyClient.log, to galaxy-client-support@gog.com ?

Liosan
I've got the same situation. The DLC are not detected by the game(in this case, the savegame is broken). Anyone know the fix of this problem ?

ymgve: Still can't download the patch via GoG Galaxy, though. GalaxyClient.log has dozens of repeats of

songoqu: please try again, we experienced some network issues
You don't say????

I'm starting to wonder if when they say you need Patch 1.1 to play Hearts of Stone, that they really meant Patch 1.1 will finish downloading when Hearts of Stone is released...

I'm sorry CDPR but you have dropped a clanger here. P*ss poor planning.
WTF ! I cant load my SAVE after this patch it says I need DLC's installed which I had and now they are gone?
I'm having an issue where there is a red box underneath Geralt, also his forearms and hands are missing. I'm assuming it's an issue with a texture. Anyone know how to fix this?

You need to re-enable the DLC, free DLC Program
Bundling all the DLCs together is great and all but will I be able to disable the "Ballad Heroes" gwent DLC? Not a big fan of the redesigns and prefer the old "neutral" ones.
Well I downloaded and tried to see how's the new patch... and it's great! The game runs so much smoother and I love the new tweaks! :D
Worst patch ever for me CDPR! Mods doesnt work and game crashes in sidequests!
ugh 17 gig :P

I was just sitting down to get my game on

my dsl is only 12 megabit at 6.5 gig downloaded so far and already having withdrawals :P

By the way, they need to make a Gwent app for android (ad free) for a modest fee, for times like these, hehe
Ok, just installed and running smoothly. Nice list of changes, though I liked the old round glyphs better than the new squared ones.

What I noticed though:
1. There is now a failed quest (Closed City Novigrad II) which I am sure I closed successfully before - it says the part where I had to follow the scent failed --> Could this maybe be linked to "Fixes issue where both red and blue scent trails were displayed when playing in Colorblind Friendly mode during quets titled Novigrad, Closed City II"?

2. There seems to be a bug dealing with blacksmiths: If you go to the disassemble or repair tab, no more overlay description information is shown for some items (weapons and armor) - this is pretty copious.

3. With this new patch, for the first time I experience crashes to desktop since playing the game. Once when fast-travelling, once suddenly in between.
TL;DR

Crosmando: It's embarrassing that GOG cannot handle a single big patch for a single big game without server issues and terrible speeds. I mean no wonder they can't compete with Steam and can't attract AAA games, as they obviously couldn't handle them as they're cheaping out on servers and/or Galaxy is just a badly coded piece of shit.
Go be an arse somewhere else
