im trying to redeem a cyberpunk code and it says: This code is currently being redeemed by someone.

Now what?

1. check you library
2. ask for refund on site you purchased it
3. chargeback
4. don't purchase games on shady sites.

Usually when a code is getting redeemed it will get "locked" for a short period of time even if the given redemption is unsucessful in the end unless the redeem is speficially cancelled.
This "lock" should cancel after a while (15 or 30 minutes? i sadly dont know the current lock time but that's about it ) and if you are the only person trying to redeem that given code so you would be able to redeem the code again. To be safe maybe try a new browser session for now it sounds like the key is "locked" as in unsucessful redemption attempt and not "redeemed" / used for good by other person though"

i have the same error with the witcher 3 game of the year edititon. in 2018 i bought the game, and inside the disk box. i had a GOG.com Game Code. i entered the code in my pc, it crashed(bc i had a bad pc back then. and it told me to enter that code while launching the witcher 3) and after i logged in again, i entered the code again, and it told me that the code is used by someone else. i taught that that someone was me, but the game wasnt in my library. imagine haveing 14 hrs in a game you dont own:)). i launched the game by using the shortcut, not the launcer

So where did the OP purchase the code?

appartently my code was redeemed by an unknown gmail adress. and i was told that the code is locked on that account...well i wont buy cd boxes again...
