Speaking of, while searching some more about Giana Sisters, I found this on STEAM: Giana Sisters 2D which is published by THQ Nordic since 2015. Never heard of it until now.

Yeah, I remember asking for the release of this game some time ago...but of course...they don't answer such questions.
However, for all interested (and not aversed to Steam): it's on sale right now, 75% off.
And, according to this site (http://steam.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_DRM-free_games) it's DRM free on Steam.
