Lone_Scout: Cool. I thought I was the only Silencer here...
Wouldn't dream of letting a fellow silencer go it alone :)

Protip: Before ya play, make a list of the main commands on some paper and keep it next to your PC....or memorize them. It makes it a lot easier.

Lone_Scout: I'm still checking out the goodies (definitely worth it) and will start playing in May. :)
They are quite nice....also quite nice, imo, are the bits I added to the post you just replied to...maybe make sure to check it out when ya have time. ;)

...or maybe I'd replay Marathon 2: Durandal...

or both.

GamezRanker: Started my trip early:
(hope that's ok OP :))
I don't have much experience, but that's what I know for sure: technically speaking there is no "too early" or "late" in time travelling.

I'd suggest adding Marathon 2 to the list since it was released in 95.
the first one came out in 94.
and Infinity - in 96.
also: I highly recommend this trilogy for all FPS gamers and those who seek a good story in games.
could write a longer recommendation but kinda have some things to do at the moment.

I didn't play the original due to motion sickness, but I really enjoyed the Unreal Tournament remake, despite a few bugs (fixable with console commands).

you can disable weapon swaying in the Aleph One port.
and while the first installment was great on its own, Durandal and Infinity were even better, IMHO.

My humble apologies for using incorrect terminology.....I meant I chose a departure point other than the pre-chosen one(May 2021). ;)

Seconded on this recommendation.

I never finished them much, like other games over the years, due to pc failures/data loss/getting distracted by other games/having IRL get in the way/etc....but they are very nice.

It was the Aleph One I tried. I've later learnt that it's the head bobbing (not sure if that's what you are referring to) that triggers it.

GamezRanker: As for FT: I was mainly recommending/talking about it to the OP and others....Crusader was my true primary destination all along :D
I'm sorry, traveller. Destination has been fixed.

LynXsh: ...
Added both to your commitments' list ;)
Marathon 2 added to the games' list.

(answer not yet given) ;)
Seriously, guys, we need to keep some linear/chronological point of reference and that should be the thread. I'm starting to get lost, when you go back in time and change your initial directions :D It cannot be managed like that ;) Now I am tempted to come back to last week and take your time machine keys from you ;)

That it has: 1995

It's just I so happen to have a game machine with all games that were released in 1995 in this or any other parallel reality on it alongside me. ;D

(seriously tho, I hope it's ok if I play more than 1 game from 1995 at once OP??? :))

Well there is a point of reference...games and such from 1995....it's just that, like with many threads/other things, people tend to ramble a bit on other things. That said, i'll try my best to stick to the year and games a bit more. :)

Updoot to my own journey
---------------------------------

Pic 4: I always wondered what was in those boxes and cans.....I mean some similar cans come from the vending machines, and the boxes/cans are in the break area.....but they exploodz when shot. o.0

I think i'll have the silencer stay on the safe side by not eating/drinking anything whilst on mission. ;D

Pic 5: Seems the WEC had some budget cuts...don't need to worry so much the.... *sees targeting reticule* ...oh ho ho, almost had me there.

Now I know who is having a key to The Tomb :D

(...) The time machine is allegedly sealed in a granite mausoleum in Brompton Cemetery in west London. It is said that if the tomb is opened, it would reveal one of the greatest discoveries of all time – a fully functional time machine. So, why don’t we open the tomb and take a look what’s really inside?
One of the reasons why it hasn’t been done is because there are no keys to the time travel tomb. (...)

I'm now fully equipped and ready to go for a wild ride in 1995.
