I'm going to buy Pathologic 2 one day, sorry. I totally understand the situation about publisher vision about piracy and updates but it has nothing to do with a game from a developer which I want to support and to play their game.

I'm not even sure the quoted Tinybuild employee knew what he was talking about. Several of their games on GOG are up-to-date, some even have their soundtracks and art books here. So it doesn't seem to be an official company policy.

It might be a shitty thing that some of their games are outdated, but I don't see a reason to boycott them as a whole.
