Ubergurl1: Unlike Cyraxpt views, I have had an amazingly positive experience with GOG.com. Everything they promised to do they did. Everything. They answered all my emailed questions promptly, efficiently and above all with great respect and politeness to me, for which I;m eternally gratefull. I stand by what I said.
Cyraxpt, ifyou have nothing nice to say, then perhaps this is not the post topic for you. This post is for POSITIVE feedback for the GOG.com Staffers, to help and assist THEM , like they have done for people like me.Please refrain from posting any further posts on this thread, Thanks.
There are plenty points what's GOG doing or did isn't good :
1 - The infamous unbundling , was just a terrible execution : it's not even finished yet : they didn't splllted bonus content for games in bundles (trust me i know what i'm talking about) . Some games in bundles got scattered accross the whole library (ie : Battle isle Platinium), some titles waste a lot storage space (ie : Heroes Chronicles).....
2 - Titles are still badly sorted some start with the , some others not : just 2 examples to illustrate this : The Void, 7 Guest, The....
3 - Positive side of the new user library : now it's displayed accross pages.... and also the changelogs. But honestly the design is awkward.
4 - Forum suffers too many problems : technical (you don't want i list all of them here ?) & also scammers , abuses & trolllings
4a - Updating system isn't reliable, MaGOG is way better, and it's not something created by GOG... sic .
5 - Support is good for trying to fix an issue with a game, order issue etc...but when you ask some help about their forums abuse -> the support suffers an apathy syndrome......they absoluty do nothing to fix this problem.
I can't speak of Galaxy, i don't use it.
So i have mixed filling about GOG, it's fine if you find them fantastic, but please don't tell to someone to not post because it's not positive points........
Also GOG has a major issue to communicate with their users in the forum....
