rtcvb32: That puts me at 18.5%, probably be a lot higher if i was buying games here again...

ConanTheBald: And why aren't you buying games here again? Gog is the best store out there!

Or what store do you think is the best DRM-free store?
I have some gripes with GoG.Before that i was trying not to spend as much money on games.

My total is around that too, though a small percentage of that can't be considered games.

Including one soundtrack that should have been part of the "extras" section of the main game.

Plus, those goodies that were part of promos and given free should have their own tab and not count towards the games total. Oh well, at least they only take up a small percentage of the total.

I'm being a bit frugal this year myself, but I have no real gripes with GOG (maybe a few nitpicks). =P

Are they perfect? No. Do they have areas and policies they could improve? Absolutely. I think they will get there eventually. Time will tell I suppose.

Mr.Mumbles: I own ~40% of everything on GOG? Scary!

Though the problem with that is the above number still isn't accurate as it still incorporates several different versions of some games. For example, it lists 3 versions of TIE Fighter and X-Wing each, both Divinity: Original Sin games in their original and enhanced/definitive editions, all the separate episodes of the Telltale's Wallace & Gromit, each chapter of Heroes Chronicles, etc...
You lightweight you... I'm closer to 2/3.

Mmm, digital hoarding. ;)

Totally. I don't have a good excuse to present for it anymore (beyond the fact that I like to support indie devs). Realistically, I have more games than I'll be able to play in my lifetime (even including the shorties and games that I quit because they end up being disappointing).

I like too many kinds of games for my own good (its way quicker to list the kinds of games I dislike than the kind of games I like) and even when I buy heavily discounted and only on gog.com, the flow of games I like is too great.

Recently got married so I'm hoping my wife and hopefully incoming children might assist me in justifying some of those purchases. At the very least, she'll probably be looking at my gaming expenses and judge me which will lead me to buy less.

I'm still trying to figure out why I buy more games than it's possible to play in my lifetime and I'm not even young anymore lol. The ability to turn back time or maybe a groundhog situation may help reduce than backlog. Only in my dreams I guess.

And I too have so many games installed and left partially played for one reason or another.

At least you have a family that may help dust off the digital dust from the game library. Maybe eventually the grandkids can help? :)

I thinking of leaving my account in my will lol.
