lupineshadow: Ubisoft is a huge name in the gaming industry but...if it disappeared tomorrow, would you care? Would you be affected?
I think the DRM argument would affect people's argument but I can't think of any franchises that people would really miss.
There are MANY franchises that I'd miss and I'm surprised that you'd even say that on a site that, at least in part, is about game preservation.
Ubisoft has some of those franchises. While Assassin's creed has been milked, I really love the original Pentalogy (AC1, AC2, ACB, ACR AC3) and "I'd kill" to have it DRM-Free. I really enjoyed Watch_Dogs 1 too and the best Prince Of Persia games are, thankfully, already here.
Darvond: I mean about Ubisoft as a name? No. But they have vast swathes of legacy content I
do care about.
They do indeed. If you happen to have a Ubisoft account, I would like to ask you, and anyone else that cares about Ubisoft games, to
help me nag Ubisoft into releasing more games on GOG. Thank you.
