Ladies and gentlemen, GOG, please add the Ukrainian language to GOG galaxy and the website, as well as the hryvnia currency for payment! And most importantly, make the prices of the games according to the region. People here are not as rich as it seems! Moreover, there is still a war in the country, the dollar has risen, wages have fallen, and prices according to the dollar have risen by 2-3 times. I don't like piracy, and I appreciate your work and sales platform! If you take other plots there are regional prices... but I'm interested in your digital goods store! Thank you! Peace and goodness!

You're right. Even though I'm really happy to support GOG, this store is barely competing with Steam right now, where almost every game is cheaper by half. Meanwhile, GOG's discounted prices are, at best, the same as Steam's regular prices.
Perhaps for Ukraine, not for me, For me GOG prices are equal to Steam prices, which are currently around 15-35% higher compared to US prices.

Ukraine prices i do not even try to compare with, they are several times cheaper, probably even on GOG.

However, my view is that a price should never be "fixed", because ultimately it is better to have a "low paying customer" than "no customer at all". In my mind, those paying very high prices, such as me... should get some sort of bonus, for example "free keys they are able to give away and free goodies"°°. There simply need to be "more value offered" to them, in case they pay a several times higher price. Of course there are big fluctuations worldwide on certain goods price, but the game-price is artificially "adapted to some sort of expected purchasing power"... even on GOG but not nearly that crazy such as on Steam. There is no other reason than simply the willpower trying to "get out" as much coins as possible from every market.

As i said, i am not against lowering prices for certain countries but: I surely would not pay 3 times more for the exact same car just because of my location (i do not even know such a high difference there... even in Ukraine the price of a car is almost same, so the same car is not 3 times cheaper there). Just makes very little sense and is surely unfair toward me. At least if i pay 3 times more for a car.... i would at least request a special package with a lot of bonus inside. Sure, you can get a 3 times cheaper car in Ukraine or almost any other place, but that car would not be the same class or with the same amount of goodies attached... it will reflect in the price. On games, nope... it does not reflect at all, it is the exact same data for everyone.

°°No, GOG realistically is not able to get it done because the hard truth is, at first they simply lack the coins and at second Steam along with the publishers are dictating every price and usually they give Steam "the better treatment"; this is the blatant truth.

Anyway, i usually turn a blind eye to it, because i want GOG to survive and have some success.
Albeit, indeed true, if i rarely find a DRM free game on Steam, i usually get me the cheapest key i am able to find and i usually get their games extremely cheap. No matter how stingy i behave; magically Steam still gets dirty rich... because they simply got a overwhelming amount of customers, like 100 times more, so even if they pay very few, Steam makes money like a truck. Although, i heard many Steam gamers still pay very pricey full price games, which is producing billions in revenue for some games. It is simply not me... but a lot of people are paying it!

So, Steam does not only become wealthy from "low paying customers"; this is not exactly true. A huge amount of customers got lesser than 10 games but they may pump a huge load of coins into those hype-games, for example on games like Fortnite or even offline games such as Black Money Wudong.

Besides, interesting:

°°°°In 2023, the average selling price for PC games on Steam was 15.50 U.S. dollars. This is a 7 percent increase from 13.30 U.S. dollars in 2020°°°

However, for Ukraine it was more like 7 USD and for me it was more like 22 USD.

Not that i am a walking bag of coins. Today i got me a pack of noodles for 1.20 CHF, which is around 1.50 USD and not any cheaper in most EU countries. So, i usually got a fair price "on non luxury goods".
