Hello,

Keep recieving newsletters from Gog,
I use Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email - unclick all the checkboxes.
and still, after weeks and dozens of unsubscibe tries - I keep getting those pesky newslatter.

PLEASE HELP
Did you try going to Orders & Settings -> Subscriptions? Could also be GOG just being GOG.
Come on, why unsubscribe? I receive only about 3-5 e-mails a week and I delete whatever doesn't interest me. It's not that pesky.

Did you get any of the free games from GOG since unsubscribing? If so, that's how you got subscribed again.

It's written on all the giveaway banners that claiming the giveaway subscribes you to the newsletter.
You have to give a certain amount of time after unsubscribing from those services before you eventually stop receiving corrispondences from them. How long that is, is anyones guess...

Edit:

Maybe giving the bot a nudge may be the next best option, then...

You might be OK with marketing spam, but most of us are not.

Here I unsubscribe right after claiming a free game, and if I forget I use GOG spam as learning material for my local anti-spam.
If you accept free games from GOG, then by doing that, then you have re-subscribed to the GOG Newsletter every time when you do that.

If that's what is happening, then it's your fault and not GOG's fault.

When you write "unclick all the checkboxes"...do you mean, you have also unchecked the box here on the website (under "your account")?
Because that usually does the trick (see attachment).

Ah, good point!
Yeah, that might also be a reason.

Fair enough.

Last few free games, the middle box gets checked, not the upper box. Not sure how all that works.

Either way, get free game then unsubscribe (assuming they don't send you emails anyways even if you are unsubscribed)

unsubscribed[/i])
If you claim a free game, you explicitly give them permission to send you emails in regard to "promotions and hot deals".
The "wishlist alerts" and the "releases and announcements" boxes, you have to select yourself.

The main box (the one, I marked in my screenshot) checks/unchecks all three boxes beneath.
Since I assume, whoever doesn't want to receive their "hot deal" emails, also doesn't want to receive their other emails, I simply concentrated on that.

I sometimes assume, that people will be smart enough to figure the details out on their own, without me going to great lengths to explain all of it.
