I usually don't keep track of upcoming games, but there's a few I'm waiting for:

Beautiful Desolation
Celestian Tales: Realms Beyond
The Banner Saga 3 (let's just hope the devs'll cut down on their douchery)
Monster Hunter Stories (not a long wait for this one anymore)
Battlechasers: Nightwar (also almost here)

MadalinStroe: This game completely baffles me. I keep seeing its name mentioned, and I end up checking up on it, only because I always forget about it. It seems so basic, and yet it has a ridiculously high rating on STEAM. Is there something I'm missing? May I ask what you find enjoyable about it? Or is it as simple as being a different style of arcade game. There's nothing wrong with arcade games, but score attack has never been my thing.

Also I just realized the game was dirt cheap in a Humble Bundle, just a couple of weeks ago. Oh well...

PaterAlf: It's hard to say what so enjoyable about this game (I already enjoyed the freeware prequels Ore No Ryomi 1 & 2). Probably the fact that it is a time-management game that is pretty hard to master. Normally these kind of games are casual ones, but this one is definitely hardcore (especially some of the challenges with the more complex recipes).
So you enjoy it for its gameplay. It's a simple game concept, but it needs you to be in the zone to be good at it, absorbing all your attention. The very definition of a score attack game. At least I can understand it, thank you for that.

I don't usually anticipate any upcoming games but The Guild 3 looks interesting

PaterAlf: Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2

Won't buy it on Steam, but the developer said there will be a DRM-free release before the end of the year.

metricfun: I would have put it on my list, but I'd only play it if it came here; and I've seen no indication of that. Voted for it though.
Not a confirmation for GOG (might happen though), but at least one for a DRM-free build:

Actually, I'm not looking forward to anything any more but I'm kind of curious about Elex. But some other games people mentioned in this thread are of interest to me like Battletech, Cyberpunk 2077, X4 or the new Aquanox.
Too many potentially amazing games are upcoming ;)
Can maybe buy one out of three, but even that's more than enough...

- Into The Breach - should be a solid, well-designed turn-based awesomeness :)

- Original Sin 2 - they've done something marvelous to an already fantastic game world, it seems... Won't be cheap, I expect...

- We Happy Few - release date for full release is currently for April, so I'll have time to save for this... Might be a really interesting game world...

- Cuphead - Indeed, this should be just... Wow! :)

- ELEX - well, I'm really looking forward to, but with certain reservations... Will read some reviews first at least :D ... The game world seems wondrous though...

To name a few. Ah, Cyberpunk, when it is released, in 2077 I expect - coincidentally the same year I can afford to buy a computer to run the game at max settings - hihihi... :P

My guess is that it'll be on Humble. But I'm keeping some hope.
Hm not a whole lot, there are still so many released in the last 2-3 years that i still haven't played yet, but:

PoE II is something i look forward to, i liked the first one a lot but it felt very much like an introduction, so much exposition in the dialogues and the story felt a bit too unemotional as well (not bad, but a bit too detached, kinda...). It introduced a lot of good elements though, it looked beautiful, i liked the mechanics, and i could see a sequel turning out really great. Obsidian can do it!

Cyberpunk 2077: Thats easy, I like Cyberpunk, i like RPGs and i like CDPR, expectations set to high ;)
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
Defender's Quest 2
Shadow Hand
Wargroove
Battletech

Those are just the ones I could think of right away.
I would say the following games (as I have backed them on kickstarter):

Banner Saga 3
Battletech
Bards Tale IV
Hero U
Mage's Initiation
Two Guys Spaceventure

Probs Banner Saga and Battletech most
Lokking forward to new NFS game.Hoping a lot from this new entry in the series.
Backed a few games that I'm really looking forward to:

Phoenix Point
Banner Saga 3
Sunless Skies (InDev here tomorrow!)

Also looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077... which will be about the year I get a computer that can run it :D

InfraSuperman: Metroid: Samus Returns.

I am somewhat concerned that Nintendo will find some way to screw this one up, but the same development team also made Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, which was surprisingly good, so they might be able to pull it off.
Nintendo already has. Content is locked to amiibos. You cannot order the 2-pack (which i want to do because at $30, it's less than what it WILL be post launch) from amazon or bestbuy. Majora's Mask link amiibo is over $70 BY ITSELF (Nintendo wants $15 for it new). Other BOTW amiibo are probably going to be going for quite a bit. I'd pickup any Samus amiibo now because they unlock stuff in-game (zero suit Samus unlocks I think zero suit for use once you beat it once)
