This is our third year going back to a Codex-only vote, on a 1-5 scale. In total, we had 268 votes (as opposed to 430 last year), voting on 179 RPGs (162 last year).
And the RPG Codex GOTY winner is.... SKALD: Against the Black Priory!

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect this year, there was no clear favorite, but looking at the graph it's easy to see that Skald won by a big margin:

3rd place went to Felvidek, which used RPG Maker to portray a busy weekend in the life of an average codexer.

Finally, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred was voted the worst RPG of 2024, in line with the base game being the worst one of 2023.
