Ah, there's the rub. They want CC info, and will automatically start charging if you forget to cancel before the free trial is over. Clearly a YMMV type of deal. :)
I told them to ''git'' when it was free and haven't looked back.

If I am not mistaken though you can cancel immediately and still have the free month - so no risk of forgetting to cancel it. It was this way when I tested Origin back then and Ubisoft claims that you can cancel the subscription whenever you want.

If you really want to enter your CC information on another site you don't even plan to use of course is another thing.
