News here (Screenrant), mentioning that Paul Haddad, most recognized as the first English voice actor for rookie RPD officer Leon S. Kennedy and more recently for voice work in the Resident Evil-like game Daymare 1998, passed away of undisclosed causes (he reportedly suffered from throat cancer, though it hasn't been publicly mentioned as the cause of death) at the age of 56.

I'm so accustomed to this being non-video game centric media personalities that this is jarring. First Rick May, now Paul. It happens in threes so I can't imagine who might be the next name unfortunate enough to make the news.

Honestly, thinking back on it I can't immediately recall a scenario where a voice actor wasn't pleasant in general. I suppose there may be some outlier examples but people like Paul, Charles Martinet, Neil Kaplan and the list goes on, really provide an insight into how much more genial people in certain professions can be.
