Back in my day, we didn't have freebies. We had to walk five miles through the lava and the snow butt ass nakeed and when we got there, they had run out of whatever they were giving away. And then we had to walk back.....

It's a terrible game. You're not wasting money, but you are wasting time. Which, I would argue, is actually more valuable.

We had half a handful of freezing cold gravel, worked twenty-four hours a day at the mill for fourpence every six years, and when we got home, our Dad would slice us in two with a bread knife.

I don't own it but I did try it on someone else's PC when it came out. It's not the worst game in the world, but it is a typical Ubisoft Open World Game (tm), so that means : Tower Climbing Simulator with unlikable whiny protagonists, checkpoints you're likely to repeat neatly placed before long unskippable cutscenes, fun for 30mins then 40hrs of the same "unlock for the sake of unlocking" grind to complete a skill tree which is mostly obvious padding and contains even just normal controls ("kill whilst jumping", etc), get hit by 900 bullets and "walk it off" but then die from environmental clipping bugs, all whilst struggling to maintain interest in a painfully weak "B Movie" story. :-D

Edit: I wonder if they've fixed the "10 ton truck on a well buttered ice-rink" driving controls, or the "rubber-banding" that took 99% of the fun out of of car chases when you could literally see the police cars teleport a few feet behind you.

It sucks that Uplay is attached to it, but I might give it a try since it's free, the game did pique my curiousity ever so slightly but I wasn't prepared to pay much to play it. I guess now I won't have to pay anything!
