I don't see a reason why it shouldn't. Ghostlight's other games, including Way of the Samurai 4, are already here.
In the comments: "Nothing confirmed yet, but there is a decent chance [a GOG release] will happen." I responded positively and I encourage others to also.
Pity it's not the Plus version, guess that would just be too much work.

and when was the last time they released new games on gog ?
I'd like to see Total: Shoguns games on gog as well :)

I wouldn't compare Ghostlight to either of the above big companies. So far, Ghostlight has released all their Japanese games here (minus Mugen Souls) just some months after Steam. Way of the Samurai 4, for instance, was released here in September 2015, 2 months after it was released on Steam. I see no reason why they couldn't bring the third here. It's not like they are too big or have their own client/store like the aforementioned companies.

By the way, it just got released on Steam. Now, let's see how long it will take till it's released here...
