Oh, you'll want in on that Con!

It's PDXCON time again and for three days Paradox fans will be converging to Stockholm, Sweden to celebrate the epic games in the publisher's expansive catalog! Even if you're not attending, doesn't mean you can't participate in the fun: our PDXCON Sale is now on, with a wide array of modern classics going for up to 80% off.

Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny are two prime examples of why the isometric, party-based RPGs of yore needed to come back and stay. Age of Wonders, Europa Universalis, Majesty, and Hearts of Iron will more than scratch your tactical itch while sucking you in their respective worlds.

The PDXCON Sale ends May 21, 10pm UTC.

I'm surprised at the negativity. Some good discounts, -75-80%. Sucks that Cities Skylines isn't here because that has thousands of votes, but the holdup is probably Galaxy integration.

Besides Cities Skylines, does anyone know what other highly-desired Paradox games aren't here yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Paradox_Interactive_games

reative00: As long as Paradox is refusing to release their newer games here they can go fuck themselves with sales.

StingingVelvet: Really wish there was a Tyranny upgrade option. I'd definitely upgrade to the highest edition in a sale like this.
Contact support.
They refund your base game with gog wallet points, so you can purchase desired edition using wallet points + some extra money.
I upgraded my 'Pillars' edition back in time using this trick.

It depends on what you call "highly desired". Paradox is not releasing their games on GOG, they said that a few years ago and still counting, so you can add Hearts of Iron 4, Stellaris, Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis 4 (so, all the games paradox has developed themselves)

Not counting, but probably will sell well here Magicka 1 and 2.

Also, not talking about the insane amount of DLC's all their games have and if we can like that or not, just talking about the fact that Paradox don't want to release their games here so you'll only see some of the distributed games if their respective developers want to release here.

Edit: and Victoria II, i forgot about it!! :S

Sadly enough, the DRM-Free Tax seems to be pretty big on this one.
Still no Victoria II

They are simply losing more business. I, and many others like me won't buy on steam, but would on Gog, and would probably even re-buy something we already had.

There is. Not on sale though:

I actually just found that myself. It was not here before, I looked, so it must be a recent addition. It's $15 though and the price difference is $5 though, so it's laughable. You can almost buy the Overlord edition for the same cost as the upgrade.

I asked support about switching for a lower cost, as suggested above. Never hurts to ask.
GOG GET FROM PARADOX THE RIGHTS TO UPLOAD FOREIGN LOCALIZATIONS (Age of Wonders...)

King Arthur is a great substitute to the Total War games, although I heard the sequel, where you play King Arthur's son, was nowhere near as good as the first.
Why is Age of Wonders 2 and Shadow Magic just 50% off here, when they are 75% off on Steam?

Yo Paradox and gog! Can we get some Cities Skyline in here? I mean, it's not like it has nearly 6000 votes on the wishlist or anything...

Had no idea that game played like Total War. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. :)
